    Description

      ADDITIONAL SYSTEM INFORMATION :
      MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 (18B75)
Cant open control panel to view Runtime info, but clean install with above noted Java release

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Recently started using 2 new (ASUS ROG Strix XG35VQ) monitors with my Mac. These are connected to my device via the Targus (DOCK180USZ) docking station. No issues prior, but soon after switching to this setup Java and Programs that use Java began to crash or not load all together. I restart and disconnect these devices everything works as expected. If I start these programs prior to docking and using the monitors everything also works as expected. This issue only occurs when launching such programs when already hooked-up to everything.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
MacBook Pro latest OS release, with docking station, and 2 4K 35" monitors. Attempts at launching Java required applications lead to crash of said programs.

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      EXPECTED -
Expected that programs would launch and run properly as they do with no monitors or older/ prior used monitors.
      ACTUAL -
Programs crash and workaround is needed to get everything working properly.

      CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
Start all needed programs before connecting laptop to docking station and monitors.

      FREQUENCY : always
