I have only seen this problem on Windows as I do not have touch screens on other devices

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
For products that register touch input, windows touch feedback can be highly distracting if the selected points are not necessarily the points that are drawn to the screen (i.e. if smoothing takes place). In .NET this feature can be turned off.
