The HttpClient uses a DebugLogger that wraps a System.Logger. This makes it possible to get debug traces by either providing a system property on the command line, or configuring a logger backend.

Whether a means should be provided to not forward traces to the logging backend should be provided, as it seems that some logging backend will enable these traces by default.
