ADDITIONAL SYSTEM INFORMATION :
OpenJDK 14, Windows 10
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Jpackage already allows to create msi packages for Windows that enable start menu shortcuts. But there aren't any options to add desktop and taskbar shortcuts at all and those standards packaging options on Windows are sorely missing.
Moreover, there is an option to let users choose the installation folder but there aren't any to let users decide if they want to actually install start menu/desktop/taskbar shortcuts as well.
