Our build lacks support for delivering platform-specific .md files only on the platform to which it applies. This means, for example, we deliver the Windows-specific directshow.md file on Linux and Mac, which is unnecessary and confusing. This is not a new problem: we used to deliver the macOS-specific applecoreaudio.md file on Windows and Linux before that software was removed.
