    • MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2020)

      CPU: 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

      Memory: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB

      macOS Catalina 10.15.5 (19F101)

We have a lot of crashes in JVM (and even OS restart) with IntelliJ IDEA on the latest Intel 10nm CPUs (10th Generation Ice Lake). We have them on our own builds of OpenJDK based runtime (JBR) as well as on the latest update of JDK11

      java version "11.0.7" 2020-04-14 LTS
      Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 18.9 (build 11.0.7+8-LTS)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 18.9 (build 11.0.7+8-LTS, mixed mode)

We have reproduced the issue on MacBook Air 2020 but our customers reported the similar issues with Microsoft Surface Pro having the same CPU.
Here is the related issue in our bug database https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JBR-2310
