Steps to see the issue :
1) Launch SwingSet2 demo with metal pipeline.
2) Switch to Nimbus Look and feel using Menu
3) Open source code tab of any demo (for eg. refer attached screenshot)
It can be seen that both - vertical and horizontal scrollbars have black coloured area towards both ends.
Tested on MacBook Pro 16" with discrete graphics card enabled - OSX 10.15.6
