Steps to see the issue :
1) Launch SwingSet2 using metal pipeline
2) Change to Motif L&F using menu
3) Select any demo using icons on the toolbar
While playing with these toolbar buttons, it can be seen that we get into a state where two toolbar buttons are shown as selected (pressed). Ideally there should only be one toolbar button selected.
IT RECOVERS ON WINDOW REFRESH.
tested on MacBook Pro 16" with discrete graphics card enabled (OSX 10.15.6)
