Antialiased portions of the NetBeans UI (text and icons) are not drawn correctly with the metal pipeline enabled. Text appears brighter, no blending is seen where it should be on images with an alpha channel. See attached screenshots.

Rendering of icons is fixed byJDK-8256463.
Text still appears brighter as compared to OpenGL.
Take a screenshot of NB IDE and zoom-in multiple times to see the difference in text.
