In JDK-8069412 an attempt was made to handle the case where late_inline does not contain inline_id, but it seems this was never tested and it doesnt work correctly with the JDK 8 compilation log I am examining now.

I am working on a fix to correctly throw and catch the error here and apparently log processing can continue without any problem.
