Java JRE 8 update 271
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When deploying Java JRE 8update271 x86 using our Enterprise tool(Installing as System account). This is problematic whether we install with the EXE or the MSI. We seem to have issues with Running Java based applications or they just dont work. However, the JRE seems to work fine when we install as the user. The problem is, most of our users are non-admin and don't have permissions.
REGRESSION :Last known working version of Java JRE is 8 update 251.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Use an Enterprise deployment tool to deploy Java JRE to system and test. If you do not have an Enterprise Tool you can use PSEXEC.exe with the following command "psexec.exe -s -i cmd.exe" to simulate a system account. You can validate the account of the new command window by typing "Whoami" Then perform the installation of the JRE software.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Validate that Java is or is not working
CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
is to install the software as the customer. but that is not feasible as they will not have admin permissions.
