With the attached test case some artifacts appear when a popup is opened and closed. Simply open the frame menu in the upper left corner or the application or open the combobox. The window isn't correctly repainted until the window is being resized. However, even without opening a popup some artifacts can appear on resizing.

The test works fine on Windows. The issue appears on Ubuntu 18.04 with Gnome 3.28.2
