This bug is reproduced on the external HP monitor connected to the Mac laptop. This works fine on the laptop monitor.

Step to reproduce the bug
1) Run the attached test case

2) You will see the JFrame on Laptop screen. Click on the “File” Menu and move the mouse towards the “Exit” menuItem so that "Exit" menu item is selected. Wait till the Tooltip is appear and disappear but still “Exit” menu item selected. This works as expected.

3) Move the JFrame to external monitor connected to laptop & repeat step(2). Here Tooltip is seen and “Exit” menu item selection disappear.
 If you see the same then the bug is reproduced.

I reproduced on jdk17 , jdk 1.8.0_291-b10 & jdk 16+36-2231 on MacBook Pro ( macOS Catalina 10.15.7)
