Java Security Standard Algorithm Names spec should include names of key formats

The specification should include the names of standard formats for keys such as "X.509", "PKCS#8", "PKCS#1". This is an important detail missing from the specification.

Also, the JDK Providers Guide should include more details about what key formats are supported for different services, such as KeyFactory.
