Make conditional compilation symbolic constants consistent

      In the native code, the symbolic constants _ALLBSD_SOURCE, __APPLE__, and MACOSX are used for conditional compilation of macOS code. Probably the latter two mean the same thing and should be made consistent. Whether the former one has the same meaning needs to be determined.
