Certain keyboard/mouse shortcuts do not work on macOS. E.g. holding Control + left-click to select multiple nodes. The reason is that this shortcut is hardwired as right-click on macOS and cannot be changed easily. In general, the user-guide on macOS says to use the "Command/Meta" as modifier key instead of "Control".
