OS: Linux
Environment: Ubuntu 22.04 x64
Reproducible: Always
Failed on Release/Build: JDK_19_b26
Is it a Regression: NO
Test result on the last GAed release for this train: Failed on JDK_19_internal_build
Is it a platform specific issue: YES. This issue only happens on Ubuntu 22.04 x64.
Steps to reproduce:
artifact_name: fileassociationstest_1.0_amd64.deb
package_name: fileassociationstest
app_name: FileAssociationTest
1. Check preconditions:
a. VERIFY There are no JREs/JDKs installed.
2. Create foo.jptest1: In terminal run command: echo > foo.jptest1
3. Create foo.jptest2: In terminal run command: echo > foo.jptest2
4. Create foo.jptest3: In terminal run command: echo > foo.jptest3
5. Install artifact_name: sudo dpkg -i fileassociationstest_1.0_amd64.deb
6. In file explorer, navigate to location were test files created in step 2, 3, 4. Make sure to refresh if file explorer was previously opened.
a. VERIFY foo.jptest1 does NOT have any icon.
b. VERIFY foo.jptest2 has Duke icon.
c. VERIFY foo.jptest3 does NOT have Duke icon. Has default document icon.
Expected result:
foo.jptest2 displays the Duke icon.
Actual behavior:
foo.jptest2 file is not display the Duke icon on Ubuntu 22.04 x64.
Since IMT says this issue happened on the internal test build, I am not sure why they are just raising this bug NOW. I have voiced my concern to them about this late bug.
