A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Hi ,
Can you please add jpackage options to create binaries for both arm64 and x86_64 in the same package? The package should install the correct architecture based on the users chip (mac intel or mac silicon). This issue was discussed in detail at https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8266259 . It's almost year since the mac silicon was released and there isn't a good solution for this. I'd appreciate it if you could communicate any future plans or decisions before changing the status of this request.
