Improve description of how BoxLayout lays out components

Separate the description on how horizontal layout is performed from an introductory sentence. This would allow for easier scanning.

A list could also be used for visually separating the description horizontal layout from the vertical one.

Add the missing 'a' articles in the introductory sentence.
