~~JDK-8317340~~ broken the build on WSL in Windows. The pathtool on WSL, wslpath, does not support the `-l` option. I can't really find any reasonable way of generating Windows long paths in WSL. If that isn't possible, we will need to at least disable the attempt when building on WSL.
