RFC 9180 defines AuthEncap and AuthDecap functions for KEM that adds an extra assurance that the KEM shared secret was generated by the holder of a private key. This feature can be used in HPKE's mode_auth and mode_auth_psk modes. We can consider adding these methods to the KEM API. The feature is optional and not required by a KEM implementation.
