      The IEEE 754 2019 standard recommends a platform include various "additional mathematical operations" (section 9.2) which are included in Java's Math/StrictMath library including:

      exp2m1
      exp10
      exp10m1
      log2p1
      log10p1
      rSqrt
      compound
      rootn
      pown
      powr
      sinPi, cosPi, tanPi
      asinPi, acosPi, atanPi
      atain2Pi
      asinh, acosh, atanh

      These methods could be considered for future updates to the Java platform.
