The no-arg constructor BasicSliderUI() was added under ~~JDK-8250852~~ by mistake, it wasn't listed in the bug. The new constructor appears in CSR ~~JDK-8251855~~ for that bug.

This constructor should be deprecated for removal and removed in a later release.

The bug was found during code review [1][2] for ~~JDK-8332103~~.
