Sometimes "other time" is printed as (slightly) negative (but much more than could be caused by FP rounding), e.g. in the user log for JDK-8341089.

Quite a few tests in higher tiers fail (2-5) with a manually added assert/guarantee that check whether the printed time is negative or not.
