The beancontext package description or the deprecation text in the classes don't give say anything about why the API is deprecated. Maybe this is okay but it's nothing is obvious when reading the package description as the deprecation message doesn't jump out. Minimally I think it should be a separate paragraph and there should be a period to end to properly end the sentence "This package has been deprecated and may be removed in a future version of the Java Platform".
