I noticed that the LICENSE file in basically all repositories has a mistake in it, probably since the "Initial load" commit.
The text in line 18-19 of the LICENSE file contains the sentence
"(Some other Free Software Foundation software is
covered by the GNU Library General Public License instead.)", but it should actually be "(Some other Free Software Foundation software is covered by the GNU Lesser General Public License instead.)".
I tried to figure out whether the term "Library" is applicable here, or defined in an older version of the GPL-2.0 text, but could only find the use of the term "Lesser".
References:
* https://spdx.org/licenses/GPL-2.0-only.html (plus GPL-2.0, GPL-2.0+, GPL-2.0-or-later)
* https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.txt
Looks like the LICENSE file has been copied to all OpenJDK repositories.
