      JDK-8355452 (https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/pull/24992) is adding tier1 testing on static-jdk in GHA. https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8355452?focusedId=14775969&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels%3Acomment-tabpanel#comment-14775969 has link to the latest tier1 test results on static-jdk. Most of the remaining tier1 failures are still related to the runtime usages of missing tools on static-jdk.

      On a related context, JDK-8346719 will address the missing tools issue is static-jdk. Before that, creating this issue to problemlist the related tier1 jdk and langtools tests.
