(I do think we have reported this before, but since I can't find it now, I'll report it again).

People have asked me why the template they created in the Template Manager isn't selected when they return to the Start Flight Recording Wizard. I think it should should be.

A very typical scenario goes like this: you are about to start a new flight recording, but realize that you want slightly different settings for this recording. You click the Template Manager button, duplicate an existing template and modify it according to your wishes. You click OK and close the Flight Recording Template Manger dialog and return to the Wizard again. Since you have completed this change now, you want to proceed to the next step and start the recording – but you will need to actively select the new template you've created in the dropdown before you start the recording.

If several templates are modified, I think that the last modified should be selected as default (unless the modification of the template was a deletion: then the normally default template should be used).
