I installed JDK8u45 on a Mac and launched the bundled JMC from the command line ("open Java\ Mission\ Control.app"). In my JMC 6.0.0-425 (launched using start-jmc), I saw "Eclipse", not "Other Java Mission Control".

This is the command line (according to Properties in the JVM Browser):

/Users/perkroon/jmc/M5.5.0-108/Java Mission Control.app/Contents/MacOS/../../../plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.3.0.v20140415-2008.jar
