The Exceptions and Socket I/O pages feature buttons that can change between different table layouts. When used the table components are discarded and rebuilt using the persisted state. Currently the filter and search box state associated with these tables are only persisted when the page is closed (e.g. when navigating to another page) which means that any visibility changes to filters or search boxes will be lost.

• Open a flight recording
• Go to the Exceptions page
• Context click on a table and show filter editor - Note that the filter editor is shown
• Click on the By Message layout button - Note that the filter editor is not shown now

If you go to another page between showing the filter editor and changing layout then the filter editor will be shown.
