The option to hide lambda forms methods (this is for example done when doing a normal thread stack dump), hinders the readability of stack traces. The lambda forms methods can be useful to show people exactly what is going on under the covers, but in most cases they will mostly confuse users.

In JMC 5.5.x there was a preference option to hide/show these. I think the idea was to reimplement it with general stack trace filters, but since we never got around to implement them, we may want to put a hard coded solution in there for now.
