Unable to edit run configurations for eclipse project after installing JMC plugin

Steps to reproduce

• Run eclipse 4.17 (or 4.16 maybe) using -vm JDK11/bin in Ubuntu 20
• Create a simple HellowWorld Project
• Create a run configuration and provide Application/VM Arguments to it and run ..
• Install JMC 8.0.0 Eclipse IDE plugin (supported-openjdk) and restart
• Try editing existing run configuration  or create a new  run configuration and edit.
• The run configuration edit option is unavailable , Please find the screen recording and consoleLog message.
