For the start of the 8u342 development cycle, we are planning on migrating the jdk8u-dev repository to Github. This is expected to happen on February 28th 2022.
Current Mercurial repository: https://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk8u/monojdk8u-dev
Target Github repository: https://github.com/openjdk/jdk8u-dev
The target repository is already setup as a read-only mirror of the source. At the switch, we will:
1. Make the mercurial repository read-only.
2. Turn off mirroring in Skara.
3. Configure the desired Skara bot functionality for the new repo (assuming same as jdk11u-dev?).
4. Change Github configuration for the target repository to allow integration.
The jdk8u maintainer then needs to:
1. Update the .jcheck/conf file in the repo with settings relevant to Skara jcheck.
