The PR of the JEP-424 [1] has the `JEP` progress by using the command `/jep JEP-424`. But when the JEP issue has been targeted, the JEPBot doesn't remove the `jep` label automatically so that the PR bot doesn't select the checkbox of the `JEP` progress and the integration of the PR is blocked.

I confirm the bug is in the JEPBot instead of PRBot. I re-read the code of the JEPBot but can't find the cause.

Maybe it needs @erik or other people in oracle to read the log(if it exists) and configuration to get more information to solve this issue.
