The fix in SKARA-2470 seems to have been successful. I found 64 instances of it correcting the behavior of the bot in the last 30 days. However, the fix was only applied to the PUT operation, which is used when updating the archive with additional emails, not the POST which is used for the initial email. We now have an example of where this also happens for the POST:
