If I accidently mistyp ethe name of my printer in the Print Dialog box, HotJava puts up sttus messages saying "Sending page N to the printer ..." for each page, but give no indication that the print job is unsuccessful.
I'm running

ALT_JDK is unset.
JDK_HOME is /usr/local/java/jdk1.1.1/solaris
HOTJAVA_HOME is set to /net/grinder/export/disk7/local.java/hotjava1.0beta/solaris
