To reproduce this bug:
1. Start appletviewer.
2. From the appletviewer menu choose option: Applet/Clone...
3. The cloned applet appears on the top-left of the screen.
4. From the clonned appletviewer menu choose option: Applet/Close
5. The cloned applet dissapears.
Now, if you go back to the original applet, none of the following options works:
Restart
Reload
Stop
Start
The same occurs if you close the cloned window when the original applet is stopped. In this case, because you cannot Restart/Reload/Start, the appletviewer windows becomes useless, then it's necessary to quit appletviewer and start it again.
Note that the rest of the options work fine, and the applet, if it wasn't stopped before closing the cloned one, runs fine.
We tested this bug for Solaris 2.6 sparc and Solaris 2.6 x86 platforms with jdk1.1.6 build_j (FCS).
