This bug occurs with on Windows NT 4.0 sp3 with the JDK1.1 patch, loading SwingSet over the net. It only occurs in browsers.
Using the Windows look and feel, when you minimize a frame, then
double-click on the minimized header, the window is maximized behind all the other frames, instead of being brought to the front of its layer. You
have to select another window and reselect the recently unminimized
window to bring it to the front. This only happens with browsers, and not when run as an applet with runapplet.bat.
Steps to Reproduce:
0) Load SwingSet over the net into Netscape on Windows NT.
1) Go to the Internal Frames pane.
2) Make several frames.
3) Minimize a frame.
4) Maximize the frame.
RESULT: The frame is maximized, but it maximizes itself behind all the other frames. It should maximize as the top frame of the frames that were created.
