Build : JDK1.2.2 'E'
OS : 95/98 (w/Plus pack, not sure if applicable)
bit depth: all
applet : copyArea {/net/tapas/export1/java2d/Testing/applets11/copyArea}
When the string redraws itself it scrolls up instead of repaint itself where it is. But the key to this bug is the frame has to be clipped at the bottom and a window has to be placed on top of the frame area being repainted.
Steps to reproduce:
1. launch copyArea applet
2. clip the bottom half of the applet by dragging it to
the bottom of the desktop and obscuring half of the string being drawn.
3. Drag a window over the frame.
See attached .gif for Windows' snapshot.
