Internet Explorer crashes if we disable "Java Plugin" in Control Panel

      If we disable "Java Plugin" in JavaPlugin Control panel and try to run a sample demo applet, then the internet explorer crashes by giving following message.

      To Reroduce the bug :

      step1 : Invoke the java control panel from the start menu option and disable the Java Plugin option.
      step2 : Then run the following applet
      http://sqesvr.eng.sun.com/plugin1/ws/demos/1.2.1/applets/Clock/example1.html

      And it crashes.
