Condition:
1. JRE 1.2.2_005 patch
2. Disable Java Plug-In in the Basic Panel
3. Kill the browser and reload the browser
4. Load an applet, ie BAT/clock demo
5. Verify if the browser was terminated
The Internet Explorer browser was terminated. Also it prompts an error message:
IEPLORE.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.

Below are the results of platforms I verified.
1. Windows 2000
Internet Explorer 5.0 : the browser was terminated
Netscape 4.72 : the browser is OK. No problem

2. Windows NT
Internet Explorer 5.0 : the browser was terminated
Netscape 4.72 : the browser is OK. No problem

3. Windows 98
Internet Explorer 5.0 : the browser was terminated
Netscape 4.72 : the browser is OK. No problem

4. Windows 95
Internet Explorer 5.0 : the browser was terminated
Netscape 4.72 : the browser is OK. No problem

I also verify IE 4.0 with Win NT and Win 98.
