STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

- Install Ladybird build 8 on a Solaris/Sparc machine.
- Set JAVA_HOME and PATH variables to point to build 8.
- CD into directory: jdk<version>/demo/applets/Animator
- Run the applet by entering:
appletviewer example1.html

RESULTS:

- The applet will run but there will be no sound.

This happens on both Sol/Sparc 2.7 and Sol/Sparc 2.8.
Sound works on Solaris/IA and Windows. Sound also worked
on build 7 for all platforms.
