"show Java Console" option in Plugin Control Panel does not work properly.

    • x86, sparc
    • linux_2.2, solaris_7

      Tested with ladybird-b14 on Solaris 7(psarc/x86)/Netscape4.7 and 4.5.

      "show Java Console" option of Basic tag in Plug-in Control Panel does not work properly.
      Disabling "show Java Console" option, iconed Java Console appears on display.
      If "show Java Console" option is disabled, Java Console should not appear anywhere.

      This problem is not seen with jdk1.3(Kestrel).

      To reproduce;
      1) Install Netscaoe browser(4.7 or 4.5) and ladybird-b14.
      2) Set the NPX_PLUGIN_PATH environment variable to the directory containing the javaplugin.so file.
      3) Execute Control Panel.
      4) Disable "show Java Console" in Basic tag and click Apply
      5) Launch Netscape browser and go to the url below;
      http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3/demos/applets.html
      5) ex, Click "A Clock"

      Then, You can see iconed Java Console appears somewhere on display and double cliking the icon, Java Console is displayed in normal size.

      This phenomenon reproduceble on RedHat Linux6.2 update Japanese edition.
      Tested with ladybird-b15, browser is Netscape6.0
