Currently debugging in the krb5 protocol layers is enabled by setting the system property sun.security.krb5.debug to true. This should probably be replaced with calls to the new logging API in Merlin.

Also, the GSS framework and GSS Krb5 mechanism do not contain any debugging support. Only the base Kerberos protocol does.
