Tested environment:
Windows 95 (S.Chinese)/Netscape4.51/JRE 1.2.2
Windows 2000 (S.Chinese)/Netscape6.0/JRE 1.2.2
Problem found:
application manager failed to sun secure application hellojaws_secure.jnlp, and show a error message of unsigned application, which expected to show a correct message for signed application. see snap shot attachment.
this problem does not exist on windows ME (s.chinese)
Problem reproduce:
1. go to application manager test case#1 (Basic Acceptance Test For Java web start) html page:
http://javasoft4.india.sun.com/jawstest/hellojaws/
2. click link "code.html", then use the content of this page to create the file hellojaws_secure.jnlp, and save in local machine.
note: the page in step1 has a link "hellojaws_secure.jnlp", this link will cause a download error, because it will try to download jdk1.3.1-rc2 from java.sun.com. instead useing created hellojaws_secure.jnlp will not has this problem.
3. click "hellojaws_secure.jnlp" in local machine, and launch the application. then will see the problem.
