      C:\jdk1.4>java -version
      java version "1.4.0-beta"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0-beta-b65)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0-beta-b65, mixed mode)

This has been seen on a variety of platforms. The InstallAnywhere application
      is a java application.

In order to reproduce this condition we specify which version of java our
application will use to launch, install, build and/or uninstall. This is
specified in our launchers properties files. I specified using versions
      1.1.8_007, 1.2.2, 1.3.0_02, 1.3.1 and 1.4. Only in the case of specifying 1.4
did the launcher fail to execute.
