using netscape 4.7x with java plugin 1.3.1_02, if the user runs a
signed applet then clicks on "grant this session" in the popup
dialog then the applet & java console freeze up.

customer finds that this needs to be the only invocation of the
plugin on that machine to cause this problem to occur.

this also happens on netscape6.
