      FULL OPERATING SYSTEM VERSION :glibc-2.1.92-14
      Linux host.com 2.2.16-22 #1 Tue Aug

      Redhat 7.0

      ADDITIONAL OPERATING SYSTEMS :Redhat 6.x

      EXTRA RELEVANT SYSTEM CONFIGURATION :
Bug reproducible on Redhat versions 6.x and 7.x using either
      Netscape version 4.7x or 6.2x

Problem does not occur on Windows

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When I load a RSA signed applet in the Java Plug-in on
Linux, the normal Security Granting Dialog appears. This
      dialog box is modal.

The problem occurs after I click on the Grant or the Grant
allways. After I have granted my applet, the Security window
dissapears (and it appears that another window momentarily
flashes), but once my applet is started, all Java windows
still give me a beep and nothing will work. I suspect there
is still a hidden modal dialog box active.

It seams that in the version of the JRE (1.3.1_02) that I am
using that the modal security dialog box does not close
      correctly.

I have reproduced this problem on versions 6.x and 7.x of
Redhat Linux using both version 4.7x and 6.2 of Netscape.

REGRESSION. Last worked in version 1.3

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
      1.Create a signed applet.
      2.Load the applet.
3.When the Security dialog appears, select "Grant this session"
4.Dialog dismisses, some flickering happens and applet comes up.
5.Applet in non interactive. Beeps as if a modal dialog box
      is still there.

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      The applet should be interactive.

This bug can be reproduced always.
