JRE is not installed with jdk1.3.1_04 on Windows platform.

      The JRE is not being installed with the jdk on the windows platform. JDK version
      1.3.1_04.

      Summary:

      No java icon in control panel.
      No file in Program Files/JavaSoft/JRE
      No entry in registry Local Machine/Software/Javasoft/Java Plugin in
      No entry in registry Local Machine/Software/Javasoft/java runtime env

      When I install the jre package I see everything I expect on the system, therefore I do not think this is not a jre problem, it seems specific to
      installing the jdk.
