- Java Web Start should offer users the ability to create a shortcut in the user's windows startup folder.
- This functionality must be exposed in a straight forward manner. For instance, it could show up as a third checkbox in the shortcut selection dialog in the app manager.

This requirement has come up a number of times in the context of iPlanet Instant Messenger. A specific customer is Ford. Most people want their IM application to start at boot time. Most people don't know how to manage shortcuts.
